Last Man Standing

The General Assembly discussion list is dead.  Once boasting over a thousand subscribers, this venerable ICANN institution is now populated only by Jeff Williams (who assuredly will continue posting until the plug is officially pulled).

So what has Jeff been writing about lately?  He did note that the H-Root server, operated by the U.S. Army Research Lab, has been down for eighteen hours.  Who else in the ICANN community even noticed? 

The demise of the GA list is a sad event.  A memorial service will soon be scheduled.
