ICANN has today
announced the successful completion of String Evaluation on a proposed IDN ccTLD string for Oman.
With this announcement, a total of 19 countries/territories requests have successfully passed through the String Evaluation; 12 countries/territories (represented by 15 IDN ccTLDs) are delegated in the DNS root zone; and the rest are either in or ready for the requesting country or territory to initiate the application for String Delegation.
